The first paid campsite in our Adıyaman list is Kommagene Hotel & Camping.

Located in Kahta, Kommagene Hotel Camping offers a comfortable paid camping experience near Mount Nemrut. Suitable for both tent and caravan campers, its facilities and location make it an ideal choice.

Kommagene is only 20 km from Mount Nemrut, making it perfect for those planning a visit.

The campsite is set on a spacious garden with designated areas for tents and caravans.

As the only paid campsite in Kahta, Kommagene offers numerous amenities during your stay:

4. Gölbaşı Lakes Nature Park Campsite

Set amid greenery in Gölbaşı, this paid campsite offers tent and caravan pitches with lake views, plus cafés, picnic spots, and a lakeside restaurant.

5. Mount Nemrut National Park Campsite

Mount Nemrut National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site attracting millions each year. Note that camping inside the park is not allowed.

However, you can camp for free outside the park in areas such as:

• Karadut Plateau: About 10 km from the park; has faucets and WC.
• Cendere Village: 5 km away; WC and faucets available.
• Old Kahta: 2 km away; WC, faucets, market, and restaurant available.

6. Mahmut Ensari Campsite

Ranked 6th on our Adıyaman list, Mahmut Ensari Campsite is 11 km from the city center, near Mahmut Ensari Tomb. It offers a tranquil free camping spot for those seeking nature close to town.

No electricity, showers, or market are available, so bring all supplies. WC and water are provided.

You can pitch your tent in the picnic area or the surrounding flatlands under shade trees.

7. Gazihan Dede Campsite

This free campsite in the city center offers tent and caravan pitches, shaded areas, picnic tables, walking paths, WC, faucets, and parking (small fee for vehicles).

Bring your own food and drinks, as there are no restaurants or markets on-site.

8. Sugözü Campsite

Located in Besni, Sugözü Campsite is a free option ideal for summer thanks to the cool waters of Değirmen Creek. It’s popular for weekend picnics, so visit mid-week for more peace.

Amenities: WC, faucets, mosque, picnic tables, barbecue areas, playground, free parking, shaded areas, and flat pitches.

Sugözü is a safe area, but always keep valuables secure.
